Robert worked closely with the landlord to obtain planning permission for a village shop and detached guest accommodation—initiatives designed to enhance the pub’s relevance to both residents and visitors.

It was imperative to work closely with the conservation officer, carefully assessing the benefits and potential impact on this historic community asset. Striking a balance between preservation and progress was essential, ensuring that the heritage of The Frankland Arms was protected while creating a sustainable business model for the future.
